Philip Hyde Viewing Prints With Edward Weston At Wildcat Hill, Carmel Highlands, California, 1948 by Calfornia School of Fine Arts classmate Al Richter. Philip Hyde and several other classmates camped on Edward Weston's lawn during class field trips. Philip Hyde would watch for signs of life in the house in the morning and go inside as soon as Edward Weston was awake. He was the first to arrive and the last to leave. His goal was to look at every print in Edward Weston's cabinets.
