

Golden Decade Poster of California School of Fine Arts Photography Students. The California School of Fine Arts, now the San Francisco Art Institute, gave birth to some of the best photography ever produced in black and white during the first 7-10 years of Ansel Adam's newly founded photography department while Minor White was the lead instructor. Guest lecturers included Group f.64 founders Imogen Cunningham and Dorothea Lange, as well as Lisette Model and other definers of the medium. Field instructors included master portrait, still life and landscape photographer and founder of Group f.64, Edward Weston.
