Note: Philip Hyde was a student of Group f.64 Members Ansel Adams, Edward Weston and Imogen Cunningham at the California School of Fine Arts, now the San Francisco Art Institute. His fine art landscape photography is in the Straight Photography tradition. Also, this digital image matches the original transparency. Philip Hyde asked that the scratch in the wall 1/3 of the way from the bottom of the left edge of this photograph not be removed, even though some believe it a "distraction."
